At Restaurant Café Van Puffelen magic happens every day. After more than 40 years, still the perfect host. Our delighted guests receive the warmest welcome at Van Puffelen, located on the famous Prinsengracht in the heart of Amsterdam, near the beloved 9 Streets.
Dine in style and be touched by the restaurant’s unique, intimate atmosphere. Grab a drink in our traditional Dutch pub. Enjoy a delicious lunch on the sunny terrace overlooking the canal. Or visit us by water. We offer the perfect mooring to order a tasty takeaway while floating on friendly waves.
On weekdays we are open for drinks and dinner, on weekends for lunch, drinks and dinner.
Restaurant Café Van Puffelen is specialized in hosting large and small groups. Various accommodations are available, each with unique features to meet any preference. Share your wishes, we create the space.

Our menu presents a culinary journey around the world, featuring the most delicious dishes. From timeless Dutch favourites to dishes with a French or Italian touch, and surprising creations with an Asian twist. Flavours to suit all tastes. What will you choose today? All dishes are served with the unmistakable Van Puffelen signature: going the extra mile.

GROUPS
Through the years, Restaurant Van Puffelen developed a high level of expertise in realizing tailored accommodations for large and small groups. We cater professionally for either festive gatherings or business meetings. Inviting, with great care and attention to detail. The layout of our characteristic canal houses allows to create spaces according to the preferences of our guests. Unique is the separate space on the mezzanine, with its own little bar, where exclusive lunches, drinks, parties or dinners can be organized.
An extensive lunch for groups from 10 to 150 people is possible starting from €15 per person.
We offer groups and gatherings a three-course dinner menu starting from €39.50 per person.
